How to activate Vipps

Vipps is a mobile payment system in Norway. To activate Vipps at Aera, you must already have an agreement with Vipps. 
 

Once you have a Vipps account, follow the steps to activate Vipps at Aera:

1. Log in to your account at https://portal.ecom.aera.id/ 
   
   Ensure you are in the right business account. If needed, switch the account in the upper right corner.  
   
   
   
    
2. In the Plugin page, ensure you are viewing services for the correct webshop by selecting your webshop in the switcher at the top of the page. 
   
   
   
   
    
    
3. Scroll to the bottom of the page, and expand Other services by clicking on it. 
   
   
   
    
4. Among the services on the same page, find Vipps service and click Activate.
   
   
    
    
5. Read and accept Aera's terms and conditions for Vipps.
    
    
6. Provide your Merchant Serial Number (MSN), Primary Vipps Subscription Key, your Vipps Client ID and Client Secret and click Activate.

7. Once the service is ready, you can enable it in your e-commerce platform: 
    
   1. Navigate to the Payments tab under Aera Settings 
   2. Find Vipps under Norway and tick the checkbox

   3. Save settings
