Swiipe Payment link is a quick, easy, and secure way to collect payments. It can be used in addition to the regular purchase flow in the checkout, or completely on its own.

Create a payment link in the Swiipe Portal:
- Login to your Swiipe account: https://portal.swiipe.com/login
- At the top right corner select the e-commerce account for which you wish to create a payment link (e.g. SwiipeApS):
- Go to the "Payment link" page.
- Provide an Order ID. You can use an existing ID from your webshop or create a new one using 5-8 digits. All payment link orders will have a "PL" prefix.
- Choose the currency for customer payment and specify the total amount.
- Select the preferred customer's language for the payment link information.
- Provide the customer's email address for payment processing and receipt delivery.
- Optionally, provide the customer's name for more personalized communication.
- Ensure automatic payment receipt for successful payments is enabled.
- Click “Create payment link”.
Share the payment link with your customer:
Once the payment link is created, you can share it with your customer. There are a few ways to share the payment link:
- Copy the link and share it with your customers via your own communication channels (e.g. via the chat in customer support).
- Send it directly to the customer via email or SMS (you can select options in the next step).
- Open it directly in the browser. If your customer is physically present with you, it might be easier for them to pay using your device.
To send the payment link directly to the customer via Email or SMS:
- Click "Send to the customer".
- Ensure the customer's preferred language and their email is correct.
- In the dropdown, select how you want to send it: via Email, or SMS.
- If you want to send it via Email, you can just do so.
- If you want to send it via SMS, we will ask you to provide the customer's phone number.
Please note that extra fees apply when sending the payment link via SMS.
- Click "Send to the customer".
That's it. The customer will be notified, and once the payment has been successful, you will see a new order show up in the Orders page in the Swiipe Portal.
