How to add and manage users in your Swiipe e-commerce account

While there can only be one owner of a Swiipe e-commerce account, you can add more users to help manage the account.

Users with admin rights will be able to perform all actions under the account (such as: edit your business information, manage users, activate new services, set up billing, manage orders and payment links), except deleting the account.

Regular users without the admin rights will be able to manage the orders and payment links, but will not be able to edit any business information, make changes to billing or manage users. 

To add a new user:

1. Login to your Swiipe account: https://portal.swiipe.com/login 
   
   
2. At the top right corner select the e-commerce account for which you wish to add more users (e.g. SwiipeApS):
   
   
   
   
3. Navigate to the "Users" page, and click "Add new user" at the top of the page.
   
   
4. In the new user form, type in the users email. If you would like the user to have admin rights, tick the checkbox below. Click "Invite".

5. Your part is done.
   The invited person will receive an email from Swiipe with a link to create a password. Once they create a password, they will be able to login using to your Swiipe e-commerce account. 

To manage a user: 

Once the new user confirm their account and add more information (e.g. name, phone number), you will be able to see this information in the "Users" page. 

To change the access level of the user, click the edit icon at the top right corner. In the edit form, simply tick or untick the checkbox and click "Save". 

To block the user access, slide the toggle on the bottom right to disable it. Once the user is disabled, they can no longer access your e-commerce account.
