• Your customers can choose whether to pay via Visa or Dankort when paying with Visa/Dankort
  As required by Visa, your end customers can now select if they want to pay via Visa or Dankort, when paying with Visa/Dankort card, and when you, as a merchant, support both. 
  This applies to both Credit Cards and MobilePay, both in the checkout and in the payment link, and it only affect Visa/Dankort transactions.

To activate the changes: 
Ensure you have the latest version of Swiipe plugin. Then go to “see details” for Win-back in the Swiipe Portal. There you can type in your sender name, and under advanced settings, you can select “Use webshop URL for redirect” to update your Win-back link.

• Improved and more reliable payment flow 
  With the new more reliable payment flow, when a user makes a successful payment via Swiipe, we notify the webshop. If the webshop fails to acknowledge this notification, we cancel the payment and allow the user to try again. 
  This fixes a previous issue we noticed, where the payment would go through, but the order wouldn’t change its status, leading to a missed opportunity to process the order.
  All the technical information about these notifications is also available to view for each transaction in the Swiipe portal.

  Turn your returns into sales with Swiipe Return-sell. 
  The service provides you with a simple returns registration flow, where your customers can easily add another variation of the returned item to the cart, and can also see related product recommendations in the same flow, encouraging them to start a new purchase on your webshop.
  Simply activate the service in the Swiipe Portal and follow our guide to set it up for success. 
   
• Opt-in for product recommendations in order confirmation email
  Your customers now can opt-in (instead of opt-out) for the product recommendations to be added to their order confirmation email, which is a feature of Swiipe Plus-sell service.

What’s new: 

• Custom product recommendations
  You can now configure your Plus-sell to show a custom set of products as Plus-sell recommendations for every order. Simply provide the product IDs of the chosen products in the Swiipe Plus-sell settings. You can use custom product recommendations as the only product recommendations you display, as a supplement to cross-sell product recommendations, or as a fallback for when there are no cross-sell product recommendations to display for a particular order. 
   
• New Plus-sell design
  Our new Plus-sell design has two templates available: carousel and special view. It ensures all product images can be viewed, and in carousel template shows only 3 products at the, which makes space for bigger product images. We have also updated the variation selection for variable/configurable products and made it easier to have an overview before placing a Plus-sell order.
   
• New Swiipe settings design in the admin panel
  We have updated the look of our settings in the admin panel. Our new settings work smoother, makes it easier to navigate between all the settings, and looks the same on all the e-commerce platforms we support.
   
• New look of our Secured by Swiipe logo
  Swiipe logo in the checkout is minimal, sleek, and monochrome.
   
• Updated MitID notification
  We have adapted our notification to match the latest changes. It now mentions only MitID and is displayed only for Card Payments.

• Plus-sell recommendations in an order confirmation email
  You can now enable the newest Plus-sell feature – product recommendations in an email. It works the same as our regular Plus-sell, except the recommended products are also displayed in the order confirmation email. This way, your customers can start a Plus-sell order directly from their inbox. 
  To display product recommendations in the email, you can either use our Plus-sell email template or add our product recommendations into your own email template.

  Get 2 gateways in one. When you have Swiipe PSP Business plan, you get a fallback gateway included. Swiipe Ensure actively monitors the payments performance on your Webshop and acts immediately if any issues arise. Meaning, we can route your customers to our alternative payment gateway, until the issues are resolved. Or if there is a specific payment method that is out of service, we will automatically hide it in your checkout, so your customers won’t be met with a payment method that is not available. So even if you’re experiencing payment issues, you don’t lose your revenue.

  We now show only the “Product short description” as the information about the products on all our Plus-sell modals and templates. • Flexible payment link (multiple payment options)
  You no longer need to preselect the payment method when you send Swiipe payment link to your customers. They can now see all the active Swiipe payments on your webshop, so they can select the one that suits them best.

  We now send Win-back notifications to your customers in both Danish and English, depending on which checkout you are using on your webshop, or based on the preferences of the logged in Swiipe users.

  You can now activate our Win-back service for Magento 2 in the Swiipe portal, which aims to get back your lost conversion due to failed payments. When Win-back is active, we send your customers an email/SMS shortly after their payment has failed, with a link to their restored basket and already prefilled personal information, so they can easily complete their purchase.

• Link to the order in the Swiipe widget 
  We added a little link in our Swiipe payment widget, which you can see in the order page in the admin panel of your webshop. When clicked on, it will take you directly to the corresponding order page in the Swiipe portal, where you can find more information about the payment. 
   
• Automatic jump to the next field in Swiipe Card Payment form
  When your customer types in their card details, the cursor automatically moves to the next field – from card number to expiry date to the security code, ensuring even smoother user experience.

Bug fixes:

• MobilePay orders are now being tracked correctly by Google Analytics. 
• The missing translations for the Danish error messages in the checkout are now added.
• The white background has now been removed from the loader in the checkout.

  You can now choose to hide Swiipe order comment field if you have a different plugin for it or simply do not want it in your checkout.

• Improved card form design for SwiipeCard Payments 
  We made the card form for Swiipe Card Payments more user friendly and nicer on the eye by adding some guidance and more descriptive labels.  
   
• Optional information in the checkout regarding NemID sign in required for online payments
  Due to the recent changes in the payment law (3DS2), customers are now often required to log in to the NemID app to approve their transactions. We see a lot of customers abandoning the payment flow because that is not what they are used to. To bring awareness and trust back, you can now select to show a little notice in the payment form informing customers that they will need to log in with their NemID as part of the payment flow. It is available for both Card Payments and MobilePay when you use Swiipe. 
   
• See what card the customer paid with
  You can now see in both the Swiipe payment widget and Swiipe portal what card the customer used to make the purchase: Visa, Mastercard or Dankort. You will also see if they used any of these cards in combination with MobilePay.

Bug fixes: 

• Order page can now be viewed in full (in admin panel), regardless of the order status. 
• The name input field is now validated correctly in the checkout.
• Customers are now able to type in their email in the checkout without issues on their virtual keyboards on Apple devices.
• The validation for the extra input fields for the delivery methods (e.g. place to leave the parcel if recipient is not at home) is now working correctly.
• “Place order” button is no longer in English, when your checkout is displayed in a different language (e.g. danish).
• Saved payments icons in the checkout for logged in users are now displayed correctly on iPhones.

• IE support for Swiipe Card Payments 
  Your customers can now complete their purchase with Cards through Swiipe, even if they use Internet Explorer for a browser. Instead of typing their card details in the same checkout page (as on other browsers), they will be taken to a secure payment window where they can do that. 
   
• Payment link
  You can now create orders for your customers and send them just a payment link to complete the purchase. You can do that from the new order page in the webshop admin panel. Available for both Swiipe Card Payments and MobilePay. 
   
• Swiipe Payments widget in the order page 
  We have added a Swiipe widget in the order page in Magento 2 admin panel, so you can see the order payment information (such as payment type, payment status and the amount).  
   
• Error messages for failed payments
  We now provide more information on what went wrong when the payment fails. You can see these error messages in the order page in Magento 2 admin panel, and your customers will see this information on the checkout or a payment page (in cases where 3DS is required). 
   
• Option to show all the delivery methods even for logged-in users
  When users log in with Swiipe, we automatically select the delivery option for them, based on their preferences, and hide the rest of the choices to reduce the cognitive load in the checkout. However, you can now select to show all the delivery options in the checkout for the logged-in users instead.

Bug fixes: 

• Browser autofill works correctly now. However, on some browsers the address may not be filled in, if the Google Autocomplete feature is on, as the two cannot successfully function together.

• Partial capture
  You can now capture the funds per product from the Magento 2 admin panel. You can do that by adjusting the quantity of each item in the order before submitting the invoice. Partial capture is especially useful if you run out of some of the stock after the customer has already paid for the full order.

  Some delivery methods require users to provide extra information (e.g. a place where to leave a parcel), we now support it better, even when the user is shipping to their regular (already saved) location.
